Engrain SightMap Integration for RentPress

We’re thrilled to introduce a powerful integration with Engrain’s Sightmap product, enhancing the floor plan browsing experience. Templates and shortcodes included with RentPress are enhanced with the Engrain SightMap Add-on, providing a refreshed, fully-responsive layout.

With an active subscription, the Integrations tab on your property editor will display a field for entering your property’s SightMap embed URL. Once added, your map is available throughout your site.

Floor Plan Search

Engrain SightMap is seamlessly integrated into our floor plan grid template and shortcodes, providing a dynamic map display in either side-by-side or toggle configurations. Filters applied on the floor plan grid pages affect both the list of floor plans and the corresponding units displayed on the map. Clicking on a unit within the map presents detailed information about that unit’s floor plan in our standard single floor plan experience.

Floor plan filters (such as Bed count, Max Price, and Move-In Date) control both the list of floor plans and the map display. Clicking on a unit on the map opens the unit’s floor plan product page, ensuring visitors stay engaged on your site. The map responds to URL filter parameters, such as /floor-plans/?bedrooms=2.

Add the engrain parameter to the floor plan search shortcode to display the map. Side-by-side view is available with top filters, while the map will show with a toggle with the sidebarfilters parameter.

Single Floor Plan

On single floor plan pages, the map displays available units for that specific floor plan and highlights the chosen unit. Shoppers can view special features unique to each selected unit.

A new “Show On Map” button is displayed when a map is available, allowing shoppers to easily locate the unit on the map. Clicking on a unit highlights it on the map for easy identification.

Single floor plan pages will display the SightMap automatically.

Single Property Page

On single property pages, the map is displayed in a toggle view alongside the filters and is also featured on the single floor plan experience.

Install SightMap for RentPress

1. In the WordPress admin, edit the property you want to insert the SightMap on.
2. Choose Integrations > Engrain SightMap.
3. Add the SightMap URL in the provided field and update/publish the property.
4. Optionally, add the engrain parameter to your floor plan search shortcodes.
