Do Google Posts impact my SEO/Local SEO/Ranking?

Yes very much so, for a couple of reasons. 

  1. Keyword strategy in Google My business (info & posts) is just as important as on-site content keyword strategy. Google crawls your GMB listing just like they do a website and indexes the content. 
  2. GMB engagement is over 25% of Google’s algorithm for the local pack and map searches. Engagement on Posts IS engagement on your GMB listing.
  3. Post engagement can lead directly to website traffic with is also a huge factor in ranking (see Alex’s question above)
