Check MRI Market Connect Data Feed


Please note: Depending on your settings, MRI Market Connect typically updates the feed at most twice a day. If any changes are made in the management software (including revenue management updates) after MRI has updated the feed, those updates will not be seen in the feed (and thus not reflected on RentPress, ILS listings, etc) until after the next time the feed updates. You’ll want to make sure your systems are organized so that your feed updates last in your software chain.

RentPress will request new data from the MRI feed every 2 hours to ensure that your website matches your feed to the best of our ability.

Troubleshooting the Raw Data Feed with MRI Market Connect

We recommend first checking your ILS listings. This is obviously checking the results of the feed and not the feed itself.

Unfortunately, MRI doesn’t provide a way to check the raw data it exports outside of the software. We’ve also found data visible in the management software doesn’t always match what’s being exported in the feed. This makes it challenging to troubleshoot at the source; however, we can see its effects and proceed from there.

RentPress uses the same data feed as your ILS listings. So, we recommend checking those listings first to see if the pricing and availability match.


Get the Best Timing

It’s important to note: depending on your settings, MRI Market Connect typically updates the feed twice a day at most. If changes are made in the management software (including revenue management updates) after the feed updates, those updates won’t be visible in the feed. That means RentPress, ILS listings, etc. won’t update until the next time the feed updates.

You’ll want to make sure your systems are organized so that the feed updates last. RentPress will request new data from your feed every two hours to ensure your site matches your feed.
