Add a New AppFolio Property

You Will Need

1. An AppFolio Stack subscription.
2. The following API credentials from AppFolio:
   1. Client ID
   2. Client Secret
   3. Property IDs
3. An active RentPress subscription.

If you do not have any properties using RentPress

• For the latest information, please reach out to your AppFolio representative. They will help you sign up, if needed.
  • While logged into your AppFolio database, click Add Functionality in the top right-hand corner and select Integrations.
  • Click Get AppFolio Stack™ Premium.
  • Enter your name as an Authorized Signer and click Activate AppFolio Stack™ Premium. (Only Presidential Users can sign up for this feature).
• *This will enable AppFolio Stack™ for your database and you are ready to sign up for the 30 Lines Integration.
  • In AppFolio, click your name in the top right-hand corner. Then, select General Settings from the dropdown menu.
  • From General Settings click Manage AppFolio Stack™ Integrations.
  • Scroll down to 30 Lines, click the drop-down arrow, and select Manage Connection.
  • Click Setup Connection in the Connection Settings block. Select whether to enroll all properties or specific Property Groups to 30 Lines. Then click Save.
  • Tick the boxes indicating that an agreement exists with 30 Lines and the terms of agreement have been reviewed and approved for this connection.
  • Click Enable Connection. Once this is done your request will be sent over to us and we will be able to get started!
• Send the Client ID, Client Secret and Property ID(s) to your 30 Lines Account Manager.
  • Please note, we will add them to our system and return an updated RentPress License Key for your site.
  • If you don’t have an Account Manager, please submit a RentPress order form. We will add the properties to our system and return an updated RentPress License Key for your site.
• Add the new License Key in the RentPress: General Settings and you can run a manual resync.
  • Please note, any new properties will be added to the site (under “Properties” in the sidebar) as drafts – they will not be published until you are ready.
• Once the sync has finished, review your new drafted property.
• Verify that the synced information looks right.
• For best results, fill in remaining fields with any additional information you might want (this could consist of: featured amenities, gallery shortcodes, additional search keywords, and more). More information can be found here.
• Click “Publish” and your new dynamic listing will go live with real-time pricing and availability.

If you already have properties using RentPress

• In AppFolio, ensure your new properties are enrolled in the 30 Lines integration.
  • Click your name in the top right-hand corner and select General Settings.
  • Click Manage AppFolio Stack™ Integrations.
  • Scroll down to 30 Lines, click the drop-down arrow, and select Manage Connection.
  • Update your Connection Settings to include the newly added Property Groups or specific properties, then click Save.
• Send the new Property ID(s) to your 30 Lines Account Manager.
  • If you don’t have an Account Manager, please submit a RentPress order form.
• Once your account manager confirms the properties are added to your RentPress License, run a manual resync in your WordPress dashboard under RentPress.
  • Please note, any new properties will be added to the site (under “Properties” in the sidebar) as drafts – they will not be published until you are ready.
• Once the sync has finished, review your new drafted property.
• Verify that the synced information looks right.
